In Pirkei Avot, the Mishnah says ״וקנה לך חבר״ to acquire a friend, I think that after one and half years of being with Shneur Vigler, I finally understand what the Mishnah was saying. Shneur is the person that always greets me with a smile. He asks how my day goes, if I have any problems, he’s the first to notice, he makes sure everything is okay. I think that amongst everything he does, which won’t fit onto this paper, is that due to me living away from home for school. If I am ever homesick, Shneur can detect that right away and always helps me out. He definitely deserves this kindness award, everyone can take a lesson from him on how to be a real friend and a good role model for others.
