Mrs Gorkin has created a school that is not a school. It’s a home. Girls come to her from all kinds of backgrounds, with all kinds of issues.  She never passes a word of judgement. Every word she says and every thing she does to a student is for the benefit of the student. She treats every single girl like they are the most important person in the world, even years after moving on from Bnos Chomesh. Dena Gorkin changes lives. I cannot think of a single person more deserving of this award.
