Rabbi Levin had the biggest impact on my life. I call him every time I have a new child because in some way I feel he plays a role in the foundation of who I am and as an result, the family that I am trying to crate and raise.

I remember once standing around him in Zal together with some classmates. This took place after we had already graduated from his class the previous year. We were just catching up or something. He asked us who here feels I was closer to them more then the rest. At first I didn’t want to say anything as not to hurt any of the other classmates that I was cared for the most by him. Then each of us started to say how it was for sure themselves who had that extra special bond and care. Then Rabbi Levi said “good. That’s what I was hoping for. That you would all feel you were the one cared for the most” I was blown away.

One of my best friends and I got into a little of a falling out which unfortunately lasted for weeks. At one point a series of events led us to make up. I found out after, that Rabbi Levin orchestrated it the whole thing.

I am involved in Chinuch today and have gotten many golden tips, advice and guidance from his way to be Mechanech. I know for certain that he effected so many. He’s a gift to Crown Heights!
