When I was in 3rd grade, it was my first year on this school. I did not really know English. I knew the ABC’s, but I definitely was not able to read. I only knew how to read Yidish. On our birthdays, we would read a Dvar Torah to the class. Everyone in the class was able to do it in English, but I couldn’t. So instead of me just not reading, Rabbi Reinetz gave me one in Yidish to read so I would not feel left out. I am very grateful for what he did and I am sure he made others feel the same!
