Rabbi Hurwitz Exudes kindness in everything he does. Specifically during Covid when Rabbi Hurwitz went out of his way to call each student and practice Kriah with him over the phone in addition to the daily zoom classes. Once when Rabbi Hurwitz came to deliver a prize to my son, we came to the door with all the children and Rabbi Hurwitz sent my son back with a prize for each child! My kids felt very special and it definitely made their day. In the summer Rabbi Hurwitz came around visiting whichever kids were driving distance to him upstate and practiced Kriah with his students. My son was made to feel special and like he is cared for on a personal level.
