I had first found out that my brother has been diagnosed with diabetes and life has become harder. I had to helped with my siblings that night and when I came to school, I realised I had forgotten to do some homework for a month. I went over to Mrs Pepe and explained to her what had happened and asked for an extension for the work. Not only did she give me the extension, but she decided to tell me that everything would be okay. Although it was one little sentence, it has stayed with me to this day.
